Dental Hygienist Jolene
It’s National Dental Hygiene Month—help us recognize Jolene
Lake County Dental Care has always been committed to help you take care of your teeth and oral health concerns. The month of October is special as it’s National Dental Hygiene Month. The American Dental Hygienists’ Association reminds patients to brush twice a day, floss every day, and rinse with mouthwash, and chew sugar-free gum when possible. We join them in this and recognize our own terrific dental hygienist, Jolene.
Jolene loves living in Chicago
Jolene was born in Arlington Heights and grew up in Hoffman Estates. She currently resides in Chicago. She’s been in a long-term relationship for over two years. The couple is looking forward to buying a house in the spring–one that they’ll also share with their three-year-old Shih Tzu named Gracie. In her off hours, Jolene enjoys relaxing and traveling, as well as cooking and any kind of outdoor activity including horseback riding, camping, snowboarding, scuba diving, and even skydiving.
Jolene’s beginning in dentistry
Jolene became interested in becoming a dental hygienist after she shadowed a hygienists at work. This happened in high school and she has been sure of her career path ever since. Her choice was further confirmed when she worked for a time as a dental assistant.
Being a part of great team makes Lake County Dental Care stand out
One of the things that Jolene loves the most about her job is the chance to meet people and build relationships with her patients. She says that it makes her happy to be able to help them become healthier and stay that way. She also thoroughly enjoys working with her team at Lake County Dental Care who she describes as a “really great group of women.”
Jolene is an integral part of our team at Lake County Dental Care. Our patients love her and enjoy the level of care that she brings to each of them. So for National Dental Hygiene Month we salute her hard work and contribution.
