When it comes to teeth whitening systems, it’s important to find one that’ll stand up over time. That’s why the KoR Teeth Whitening System is such a popular choice.
With so many dental care products on the market today, sometimes it’s hard to tell the quality products from the harmful ones. The unique way KoR Teeth Whitening is manufactured, processed, and shipped makes it one of the most effective teeth whitening systems on the market.
And that’s why Dr. Potts prefers to use this system instead of others such as Zoom Whitening.
How does teeth whitening work?
Most teeth whitening systems involve using a peroxide gel that causes the formation of hydrogen peroxide, which breaks down to form water and oxygen as well as byproducts that are known as bleaching factors.
Unfortunately these peroxide gels, like anything else, lose their potency over time and don’t give you the full effectiveness once they’ve started to decay or deteriorate. After about 25-35 minutes these gels stop being as effective due to saliva contaminating the gel and will not give you the bright, shiny smile you want.

Her pearly whites are really white now!
How is the KoR Teeth Whitening System different?
The KoR System has two main parts that make it different than all the other systems on the market.
First, the whitening trays are designed to keep saliva from contaminating the gel, which as a result can give you six to ten hours instead of 25 to 35 minutes of whitening activity.
Many whitening gels lose their potency during transport and storage because heat degrades a gel’s effectiveness, so KoR uses a continuously refrigerated Dual-Activated, Tri-Barrel Hydremide Peroxide Technology. This refrigeration process keeps the gels fully cold until they’re applied to the teeth. KoR’s products are always cold to ensure full strength cleaning to get the debris from between enamel and refresh the enamel itself.
If all that wasn’t enough, KoR’s Desensitizer makes sure that sensitivity issues are “nipped in the bud” before they have a chance to arise. KoR’s system is also designed to make the teeth more permeable to the byproducts of the gel that actually perform the bleaching. Once they become conditioned properly they will whiten better; one more of the many reasons Dr. Potts is confident in their ability to give you the smile you want.
