I can’t wear my dentures anymore because of losing too much jawbone. Now my dentist is telling me I can’t get implants for the same reason. What’s a gal to do?

Genniene,
You’re in a difficult situation, but it’s not impossible. Did your dentist tell you about bone grafting?
A qualified implant dentist can graft in bone to build your jawbone back up. When that is done you could either get new dentures or dental implants. It will be up to you which procedure to do. Though be aware that even if you got new dentures, you would immediately begin losing jawbone again.
The only way to prevent facial collapse is by getting dental implants.
